This high-purity copper anode for MGPS is specially developed for marine seawater anti-fouling systems, integrally formed from 99.9% high-purity electrolytic copper, compatible with sea chests, seawater cooling pipelines and heat exchangers of all types of vessels. Based on electrolytic principle, the anode steadily releases trace copper ions circulating through the entire piping system with seawater, effectively restraining the adhesion and growth of marine organisms including barnacles, mussels and algae with over 95% anti-fouling efficiency, preventing pipeline blockage and reduced heat exchange performance.
The anode features uniform dissolution and stable consumption rate. Equipped with insulated and sealed structure, it is water-resistant, corrosion-proof and fracture-resistant with long service life. Standard dimensions fit mainstream MGPS control cabinets for easy installation and replacement, suitable for new ship construction and retrofitting of aged vessels. Trace copper ion discharge complies with marine environmental standards. When used together with aluminum anodes, it forms an anti-corrosion protective film simultaneously, greatly cutting pipeline maintenance frequency and delivering long-term reliable protection for seawater systems of ocean cargo ships, engineering vessels and fishing boats.
